THE HEAVY HEARTS STORY

HUBB is a singer/songwriter raised in St. Louis and educated in the countless live music clubs of Austin, TX, where he spent his formative years on a blues and soul pilgrimage playing music throughout the South. He returned home to St. Louis with a newfound fire in his playing and the desire to form a band capable of bringing what he found back to the heartland.

Enter The Heavy Hearts.

Showcasing some of the finest, talented and most creative musicians of the St. Louis area, The Heavy Hearts turn heads when and where ever they play. Driven by HUBB’s fiery guitar and gritty vocals, their creative and expressive renditions of classic funky soul tunes and roof-shattering jazz and blues leave audiences wanting more. While mixing the unmistakable sound of St. Louis Blues with southern soul, The Heavy Hearts create a sound that's familiar but all their own. Whether an original tune or a cover, The Heavy Hearts sound shines through. From New Orleans funk to smooth jazz, to roadhouse country and everything in between, there's something for all music lovers at a Heavy Hearts show.

Their first three singles "By My Side", "Time Goes Around" and "Life Away" are available on all streaming platforms, with the full EP "Calm, Cool and Collected" to be released in early 2024.
